I would NEVER reccommend Gianna's Grill to anyone, especially if they were vegan.

Just do a Google search for them and read some of the nasty business practices they do. Or just visit this website:

The food may be decent, but their ethics are atrocious.

The problem with Gourmet to go was that their cooks changed so frequently that they were always in a state of training. They have gotten a little faster, so I hear.

But both restaurants make a good sandwich, just different. Gianna's is more traditional, but uses crumbles, so the steak has a sloppy joe consistency. Govinda's uses some kind of TVP chunks, and also peppers and different spices and vegenaise.

Gianna's Grille seems great… I will try it.

Have to agree with the first response.. though.. Gourmet to Go is totally incredible.. their dishes have a nuance and the place is alive.

I disagree with Corinne. Govinda's has horrible service and mediocre food. Gianna's Grille is the place to go for vegan cheesesteaks and other sandwiches. Their vegan meatball sub is incredible.

I want to suggest that those who are interested in Vegan Cheesesteak should consider Gourmet to Go which is affiliated with Govinda's. It's pretty amazing!
