The world of pizza would benefit if about 65% of the shops went out of business. When did bad pizza, available everywhere, and nothing more than a gut-filler become acceptable? Tacconelli's (the obvious) is the undisputed king of pizza in Philadelphia. Either DeLorenzo's, the tried and true location on Hamilton Avenue in Trenton or the recently relocated competitive-within-the-family iteration in Robbinsville, N.J., both even better, are more than worth the trip.

I love this place...being that I'm not originally from Philadelphia I found it very hard to find a decent pizza place. I love New York style pizza and this place is as close as I've come to here in Philadelphia.
